Analytics Startups in India to watch in 2020

Our country is slowly becoming a hub for many successful startups with investors pitching in money on various innovative ideas. The startup ecosystem is seeing a rise of many analytics startups working in various prospective areas like fashion, agriculture, emotional intelligence, hybrid TV powered by AI, healthcare, real estate, facilitating lending decisions, voice-based solutions and several more. While the market has seen rise of many startups, here are a few worth watching out for in the year 2020.

Zendrive

The firm provides analytics-based solutions by analysing the behaviour of drivers, road risks and reduces accidents. They have analyzed over 160 billion miles of driving data to save money as well as lives for travel management companies, insurance companies and consumers. Zendrive has also launched an AI-powered tech support for the transport industry and other firms. This gives them an insight about the behaviour of the driver on the road to make sure of a secure and comfortable ride.

Spoonshot

Spoonshot is an analytics startup by Sai Sreenivas Kodur and Kishan Vasani who were employees at Zomato and Just Eat respectively. The firm was started with the aim to build a personalized food searching app for Indians and initially named as dishq (dish + Ishq). The goal was to make food ordering appealing visually and emotionally to Indian customers.

They shifted their focus to B2B market and the name was changed to Spoonshot. They use food science to bring out relevant information which is personalised to every user. Their insights allow users to make quick and quantitative decisions making this not only a part of analytics startups but also FnB.

Pi Square

Started in 2014 by Chinmay Pradhan and Rojalin Biswal as Arima Research in their initial years, they later changed into Pi Square. They have partnered with various companies to change their decision-making ecosystem with the correct mix of planning and analytical data. The key is helping other businesses by using their analytics and visualisation. Pi Square has partnered with several businesses around the world and their products focus in the area of talent analytics, customer analytics and operations in the IT/ITES sector.

vPhrase

vPhrase was launched by Neerav Parekh who carries experience in technology, marketing and finance. The company boasts of having its own AI platform that analyses data and give insights into multiple languages. This information is automated and the reports are generated using their products like Phrazor, Explorazor and BI Dashboard.
